Prior to joining GTVEntertainment he started his own independent management company which he started in 1996 helping local artists develop their skills and talents while funding demo projects at local studios and production company's. He also in the worked as a community activist for a nonprofit organization which helps inner city kids get off the streets and into an environment which teaches them responsibility and direction for a career when they are adults.
